Springer Mountain weather

February 28th. With two friends from high school. L

Hiked from Springer to Three Forks today and did a loop via the Benton Mackaye trail. Register showed about 15 folks starting today, and 15 yesterday on top of Springer. Gonna be good to start in two more weeks.

It was an awesome day, and my first longer hike with my full pack. I'm ~20lbs before Food/Water and had about 5lb of Food in there and it felt pretty good.

I was orig listed as late Feb but I will be hitting the Approach Trail on Sunday, 3/3. Leaving Illinois tomorrow morning.
