    Default Hammock Dog?

Has anyone ever slept in their hammock with their dog? Yes this is an actually feasibility question.

Fronkey over on Hammock forums sleeps with Kiba. My pup is too big to sleep in the hammock with me, although she certainly would like to try

yep i do, but she is a small 80lb lab. the hammock is a 12' 1'9 coat nylon DIY. this is only in cold months. i don't make her hike in the heat. too much for a black lab. KK&K
I'm so confused, I'm not sure if I lost my horse or found a rope.

You can get fleas from shelter mice too.
Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

I do ,but it took her a while to relax in the bridge hammock. Twenty pound dog is a full time hot water bottle.

You might want to see what your dog thinks about the hammock...

I just found out I have one dog (65lb lab-golden) who will climb up on a hammock if I am in it. She prefers to sleep on her back, alongside me. My other dog wants nothing to do with hammocks, so she opts to make her bed under the hammock.

Illaelle, that is delightful. Sorry for the dog but laughing. Is there one of us who cannot relate?
You never know just what you can do until you realize you absolutely have to do it.

My Bro sleeps in his hammock with his Lhasa. During winter months, his dog is trained to hop into the sleeping bag, crawl to the end, and not move all night.

Now if my Bro could just teach the dog to hold a pee bottle....for him.

Same here. My 40lb blue heeler will hop right in with me, and in the winter time it's pretty comfortable. My 55lb red heeler curls up underneath.

My wife has slept with our Great Dane, that was until Sophie got excited one night and clawed her way out the top. Sophie doesn't sleep in the hammock any more!
