This is reminiscent of Warhol's Screen Tests: put the subject in front of a camera and see how they behave, like New Order's Round and Round Video, only with real folk and not models. Indeed, it's tough to "act natural" when the cameras are rolling, and tougher yet to behave naturally.

But this, without question, is a great video!

Nice video with an interesting idea.

Whats amazing to me is how vividly I still rember many of those places on the trail despite it being a few years. And whats even more amazing was how he got lost right before the border. I had to hike that through snow and thought it was straight foward. Maybe the snow burried whatever it was that confused him.
