So sad to happen. Condolences to his family and friends, especially his brother.

Race Brook Falls is actually off the AT on a blue trail, Race Brook trail. There is a trail that connects the upper to lower falls. The falls are beautiful, dramatic, and alluring, like something out of a Maxfield Parish painting. My sympathies to the family and friends of this young man.

I never actually met him, but I am really good friends with his cousin's fiancee, so I imagine I would have met him at their wedding next weekend if this wouldn't have happened. So unfortunate. I read this article and had no clue he was related to people I know until I saw his family that I know posting about it on Facebook. Their family definitely appreciates the prayers. Stay safe out there, guys!
