It's not going to be as full featured as what you would get with a traditional browser, but I use it 90 percent of the time find it to be fairly robust

I've done numerous section hikes got shoes figured out as for Bears been lucky actually I've seen more wildlife in our urban forest preserves than I saw on anywhere on the AT which was kinda disappointing as I was hoping to get pictures

I think the noise might spook them
I think they can hear the trekking poles and boots stomping a mile away.

Last March in Georgia into North Carolina there was an especially large crowd so you could hear other groups ahead an behind and if a person could hear them so could the amimals

Go to the library and use their computer. You got to be resourceful if you want to be a long distance hiker. If you want everything handed to you then you won't last long. And the app is free so you really can't complain.

    good one Sly!
Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

You're not very resourceful are you? Open a browser, type in www.whiteblaze.net (or click this link), scroll to the bottom of the page, click full site, on the menu bar click odd and ends, click user cp.

I wish they'd improve the Facebook iPhone app myself.

Tapatalk works good for the forum but there's no substitute for a browser - that's just how it is.

When you go to the website be sure to go to the desktop version if you want all the features. For me it's a request desktop site option on chrome browser.

Tapatalk is supposed to be usable with WBNet. But I can't find WBNet in the Tapatalk list. Where is it?

As others have said. Use your browser on your phone. You already have computer. It's your phone.

When I search for White or Blaze within the Tapatalk App it finds this forum. Also, since I have Tapatalk on my phone when I go to WhiteBlaze with the browser it asked me if I would rather connect with Tapatalk instead.
