Default Campsites along nj-at between moc and rattlesnake swamp.

Havent been on this stretch in a long while.

Planning on using the sidetrails coming up from coppermine road and heading north on AT to Catfish fire tower then doubling back over the Rattlesnake Swamp trail thru MOC.

Is there any unofficial camping along the AT now in the area between the tower and where you pick up the Rattlesnake Swamp Trail????

    thanks

I hiked that ridge Pop told me not to that morning.
Each time out, I see that same ridge- only different.

There are two legal campsites in that area. Where the AT and rattlesnake trail meet stay on AT for about 1/4 mile you will make a left turn on trail and will see an open area on right and about ten yards down on the left is another spot. The only reason I say legal is because its listed in AWOL guide.
