    Default apple new OS

We made so much progress with the AT being shown on the Google Maps and we just lost it all with the new Apple OS due to Apple's fighting with Google. Time to get a new third party app! Any recommendations?

Are you forced to update the OS?

Yea saw that coming! Apple stuff is great for some folk - but its all advertizing hype. Get Android with google - actually it really is more popular. Besides who are you going to believe a commercial or looking up the FACTS.

Google map on my phone is outstanding!
Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

    Also:

Do you hate the new maps that Apple has used to replace the excellent Googlemaps in iOS 6? Given the feedback I’m getting, many of you do. But there’s no need to suffer because getting Google Maps back is easy. Here’s how.
    • Fire up the Safari browser and visit maps.google.com.
    • Notice that little sliding pop-up at the bottom of the screen? Follow the instructions to add a shortcut to your iPhone or iPad Home Screen.
