Default Safe parking at Rt 4 for 2 weeks?

I was told by the Inn at Long Trail they won't let me park there for longer than a week. Anyone know of safe parking in that area for two weeks? They said I could park across the street, but not sure about safety for the vehicle. (?)

The parking lot across the street is within view of the Inn with lots of traffic. Its probably a safe bet. Alternatively you can park in Rutland and take the shuttle up to the crossing (iI think its free and runs quite often but do cehck)

The bus costs $2.00 if your going up to the pass. I wouldn't worry about parking across from the inn. Just take the usual precausions. Don't leave anything valuable in car and don't lock the doors. If you have anthing you need to store, the inn might have a place you can stash it.
