I watched a few of shugs videos right after I got my hammock. After hanging two nights in the back yard I decided I liked my tent better. Should put it up for sale I guess. Now might be a good time with all the potents buying gear.

thnks, and thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers. my moms cool with me hiking, says dads not dying yet, no reason to stick around just worrying, said if i was working, there would be no reason to take off of work, so no reason not to hike. she said shed rather me be happy on the trail than unhappy at work. where i am is not going to change anything.
cant understand how theyve put up with me all these years.
i have been fortunate to have such good parents.

I hope everything works out for you, HB. I too, have been fortunate to have great parents. Even though my mom has passed on, my dad is still here helping me. Hard to tell where I would be now without their support and guidance over the years.

HB and DH, my father passed 9 years ago, moms still living, and yes she still worries when I say somethin like I'm goin hiking...."alone she says" god bless her, she's a neat Lady, and put up with tons of crap from me, glad I finally figured some things out in life...It's all good

Yeah they all care (Moms) well most I guess, can't imagine a parent not caring, but i know it goes on...shame. If my pop was still living, he would be into hiking, he's the one tht planted the seed with me to get out there and go figure it out, he like to allow peolple to think and do for themselves, a quality that i'd like to think I posess.
