Grand Poobah. Congrats Man. I stayed at Tom Floyd in SNP with you (I was one of the brothers who traded you whiskey for a cold beer). Glad to see you made it.

Yeah man, what a good night. I was in such a bad mood before meeting you all, and the beer was heavy. You and your brothers made it all better. Good company on the trail is hard to come by sometimes. I was lucky to meet a good handful of guys like you to boost my spirits(with spirits). Keep in touch.

Also were you the brother sleeping in the hammock?

Glad we wre able to help lift the spirits. Any idea if Boyfriend made it? I was not the one in the hammock (thats a friend of my brother). I was the one who gave you the initial trade and rolled smokes with you until late.

Yeah Boyfriend finished a couple days ago. I think on the 13th. Ahh yes. It was a good night. Boyfriend and I still made the 24 miles the next day. It was painful.

Congrats man! Glad to see you made it. Knew you would. I am the brother that hiked with you the next day until you hitched a ride to Elk Wallow/Luray. I will probably be out there in 2014 or so for another thru attempt.

    Default AG and the summits

July 23rd, 2012 on Baxter Peak

February 9th, 2013 at Springer / Just a couple of days before we were walking in 3 feet of snow.

It was an awesome winter on the trailfor us. Extreme temps, deep snow, fantastic Xmas in Abingdon, VA, epic New Year's eve at Thomas Knob Shelter, and on and on. I met some amazing folks whom I hope to keep in touch with through the years. Thanks to all that made it possible for me.
Congrats to the rest of you.
