Is there a trailhead at partnership shelter? Is there anywhere to park cars and leave them for a week?

I'm Planning to leave my car at the Trailhead at Partnership Shelter this Summer. I think this shelter is right next to the visitors center with parking.

Shelter is right on the AT and adjacent to the secure parking lot at the Mt. Rogers Headquarters building. Stop in their office for a permit, no charge, and they will tell you where to park. however the gate is locked at night, so be sure you are back in time to get it out, or you may be sleeping in the shelter an additional night!
