Shell is opening a new gas station on Va. 9 about 0.6m East of the Keys Gap crossing of the A.T.
The pumps are in place and the building is freshly painted.
Calls to Shell marketing to determine the actual opening date were unanswered but it can't be more than a couple of weeks.
This supply point is of minimal interest as Harpers Ferry is only a few hours away, unless you are taking the cutoff and heading straight for the Weaverton heights.

I wouldn't expect a gas convience store to carry much of anything for resupply. However, probably a good place to get a snack and cup of hot coffee
