    Default Jerry's in Troutdale Va.

Wanted to let everyone know Jerry's has closed in Troutdale. It is for sale.We are still doing shuttles in this area if anyone needs help.276-7833754-leave message it's not a cell phone. Jerry has been a great help to hikers and will be missed.

I would always go onto Troutdale for the hostel and the great food at Jerry's.

I can't imagine a hostel being an easy place to manage but did the off-season hiker economy do him in or did they just say enough is enough?

Great guy. he drove me to Marion. i know Jerry was going to school to be a preacher. i hope he is pursuing his dream.
does the store have living quarters other then the hostel?
I'm so confused, I'm not sure if I lost my horse or found a rope.

Jerry ran a restaurant/store. The hostel is nearby at the local church.

I think so, I remember being lead down some hallways past different rooms below when he was showing me something. That place is deceiving, much bigger than it looks.

Bummer, I was planning on hitting Jerry's for lunch or supper this summer. Is the Post Office still open?
