Why do you post here at WhiteBlaze?
To ask questions, to get new insights, to debate the merits of different approaches, to learn about the trail, and then to try to give back what I've learned or think to others. I read postings in order to distract me from the daily grind.

That was quick! My post apparently went out before the poll.
Here and also at AT-l, I've met folks willing to help this section hiker along his way north. The help I've received has been invaluable. I've tried to pass a little help and advice along the way. I'm no expert on thruhiking, but seventeen years of section hiking has given a little insight in getting to the trailhead.
Sorry, None of your answers seem to fit. I post because I enjoy the trail and like to chat about it, and promote ways to make it better.

Hey, if you like them all, you can check them all! An "all of the above" option when you're allowed to check them all would be like slackpacking...

I think you should have a note that says: "check all that apply" and add one more choice, "other", just to cover everything. I personally don't fully understand the first coice, "it beats work" because it hasn't applied to me for years.
I put a "choose all that apply" tag up at the top of the poll. Is it not showing up? I aggree with streamweaver, posting involves so many different types of situations.... some get your dander up, some you need help on, some times you can help some one else and some just social fun. A bit of every thing here makes it a great place !
