Are you using a smartphone or tablet to post? I have similar problems when using my iPhone or iPad (aka worthless giant iPhone). I haven't found a workaround yet, but would like to hear if anyone else has found a solution.

My DROID had similar trouble. Solution was to clear data/cache for multitouch keyboard, under "settings"-->"manage applications"-->"all applications"-->"multitouch keyboard". For Apple, not sure.

Let me know if you find the solution. I work on an iPad, and cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to space sentences.
