At anchor in Dead Men's Bay on Peter Island. This is the place where Blackbeard put 15 of his crew ashore on Dead Men's Chest and for provisions... he gave them a single bottle of Rum.
Some tried to swim to Peter Island and drowned in the 1/2 mile or so pass and so there were dead men on dead mens chest...
Had a great day today. Had a good sail from Brewers Bay, around Tortola and up past Great Cameno and Guana... then we anchored at Salt island for a couple hours and snorkeled out over the wreck of the HMS Rhone.
Here is a link to the pictures from the trip in case anyone is interested... but I digress.
I should be home by the 27th, so I will endeavor to get the stickers sent out to all who sent in envelopes while I was gone post haste.

Made my day; I can't believe some off the wall statement I made in a shelter register in PA back in 1994 would catch on. A few years after that thru hike, everyone was using the phrase.

Sitting at the 'In the Country, LLC' ice cream shop on the AT where it heads out of Damascus NOBO. This is the last place to get a connection if you are leaving, or the first place you get to if you just hiked in from Fox Creek like I did the other day.
Have had a wonderful time here, even met the Legendary 'Lone Wolf' on a Virginia Creeper bicycle ride detour.... great guy.
Anyway, just replied to another group of PM's and will send out some stickers when I get home. Still have some left, and will probably go ahead and order more when I get done with these...

I have ordered a couple hundred stickers to share with all my friends here.
I will take a picture and post it here when they arrive, but basically they say;
It is white letters on a black background.
I am not going to charge for them, just send me a self addressed stamped envelope and how many you would like. Send me a PM for my address...
No agenda, no mailing lists or anything like that... I did this on another site
too, just something to 'give back'.
