Mine has come up normally... Have you tried logging out and back in or clearing your cookies and trying again? Could be a software glitch...

I was working on the site last night and removed that temporarily and forgot to put it back. I have replaced it now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks Rick. That is the most important feature for me. I don't mind the new look but wonder if maybe all the info presented on the homepage isnt a little overwhelming? I understand the need for all the different links, i.e.-articles, recent threads, etc, but it looks like almost too much? Thoughts from yourself and others?

I am not sure why users want the Recent Threads on the front page either. It can be accomplished without having them on the front page but for the time being that seemed to be the consensus. As far as all the links, I am working on that now. I am working on rewriting some of the old articles and adding new articles to the site. Once some of these are falling into place I am going to clean the links up on the front page.

Speaking of articles. If anyone want to write an article for hiking the AT and preparations to help other hikers, please let me know.
