I tried searching for an older post of mine that I can't remember where it went.

Results: No matches

I tried searching using my username with "any date".

Is this a "donation-only" privilege, or...?

No, not donation related. The website has been having issues lately. Seems most of the history from maybe 10/21/2011 back to Dec 2007 is MIA.

The " search function " is not ........ very good .

"not very good" is an understatement...I'd put it pretty close to "useless." I've only rarely gotten anything relevant from an attempted search of any forum.

I was in the process of rebuilding the search index for the database. you should have no problem now.
