Water sources from Newfound Gap to Fontana Dam

Does anyone know how the water sources are between Newfound Gap and Fontana Dam? I am planning this section for the end of September.

I'm doing this same section in early October. Word I heard is that it hasn't rained much for three weeks and water is getting to be a challenge. There is a big storm brewing in the Gulf that has the potential to make major impacts to the SE in the next few days.
