    Default Need 2-3 night hike ideas in NC, TN or VA

    My cousin and i have been trying to plan a backpacking trip for a couple of years now and our schedules are finally both free for a very short bit of time. We have about 3 days and 2 nights to hike. We live in NC and would love to hike a little bit of the AT somewhere near by (meaning within 4 hours of Charlotte NC). We both have hiking experience and could probably average 7-10 miles a day.
    Does anyone have any ideas for a hike?
