    Default washing Tevas

    I have a a pair of Teva sandals (the kind that looks like a full shoe with holes in them). CAn I Toss those in the washer for cleaning?

    I would, but I wouldn't put them in the dryer.

    Actually what works good is dropping them overnight upside down in a small bucket of water with two denture cleaning tabs in the toe and two under the heel. Then about an hour before pulling them, drop a couple oz of apple cider vinegar in the water, and agitate. Rinse with fresh water and drop them in the sun for a day. My vibram 5 fingers were getting funky and NOTHING including washing would work. This method did well, I've cleaned a couple other pairs of shoes the same way with success, give it a try. For $3 a box you can't go wrong.
