    Default Posting message issue

Every time I post a message I get the warning about leaving the page. To finish posting the message I have to agree to leave the page.

I'm getting the message too. I used to work in IT, so I think I know how it happened....you see if we were to fix one thing, we were always sure to break something else in the process. My guess? It'll go away soon...and something else may pop up somewhere else???

BTW, this is replying to a thread, not creating one.

Happening to me every post. When I click okay, it doesn't post, I get the "message too short" error. I have to try many times using the Go Advanced page before it works.

This happened to me a few times but not today. I have not figured it why it happens.

If you hit the +Reply to Thread button, type in your post, then hit the Post Quick Reply button, the post seems to go through. I didn't really use the quick reply box previously so I am not sure if this is a different process now. Using the Go Advanced button leads to the box that was the old reply button. Once you finish typing under the Go Advanced box, you get the option to submit or preview. Those two options do not come up for if you use the Reply to Thread as that drops you right into the Quick Reply box.

I was wondering about that, I think it has happened to several people today.

Also, if you double click on the +Reply to Thread button, the Go Advanced posting box opens. There is a whole row of additional formatting icons now available, and I think the paste from Word icon is new as well. Some of those icons are for table creation. I was able to paste in an Excel table, 1st figure and I created a 2nd table using the icons.

I got the warning even when I didn't try to post anything. Oh the joys of ajax. Me thinks this version of vbulletin has too much jquery-type stuff.
Some knew me as Piper, others as just Diane.
