Calm down, marathoners run fast for 26 miles, not two marathons a day for 45 days at a time.

Not sure who put the feathers up your bum - hope you enjoy that. ... Let's see you do the CT section in a day - a run of the mill day in Jenn's effort. Take all the support you can put together, however much that its. Good luck!

Driver8 for president! Sly for Veep! Jenn Davis for Secretary of Health & Forward Motion!
Insert tongue in cheek: From now on I'm going to ask all marathoners that I meet if they wore back packs and if they refused the Dixie cups of Gatorade. If they say "no," I will then commence with denigrating their accomplishment.

Exactly. We're probably just throwing good energy after bad in this case, Baby Sue.

PS: You'd make a fine attorney general.

PS: I'm wearing tiny ankle weights on my fingers as I type, to ensure that this is an unsupported post. Don't want to be a hypocrite.

Now *thats* the impressive part...walking 2 marathons a day every day and still had enough energy to get lucky?

By the way..threatening to go "atomic ape s***" doesn't mean much when you're talking words on a forum.

Yes, Max Patch, you are correct. I'm all talk. I'm not a violent person, and I'm smaller than most other posters. So my threats are completely idle. I depend wholly on the power of the pixel.

It appears some fingers post here without the support of a brain, so they've got yours there.

She already is with Salomon and Blue Ridge Outdoors. Probably her book will get picked up by a NY publisher and she will add details to it about this hike, maybe a new cover. That's what I would do. I assume she has a publicist and agent - both of which she needs

My last post on this site.
Congratulations to Jenn, I wish her the absolute best for the future and much success.
If she ever comes here, I hope they don't lock the topic while she's typing. Again.

It's fine to have an opinion, but if you state that, in your opinion, the earth is flat, better-informed people will not hesitate to tell you that you don't know what you're talking about. Jenifer is an awesome athlete, but she is also physically and mentally tough, and smart enough to have come up with a winning strategy for accomplishing an incredibly difficult feat. We will be seeing other people adopt her tactics when they try to lower the record in future years.
