NC for a couple of weeks in May?

Hey, folks.

Short notice here, but I may have just lost a hiking partner for a stretch from Dick's Creek Gap (just down from Hiawassee, Ga.) to Newfound Gap or Fontana.

I was thinking about leaving around May 7 and getting back around May 21.

I have some very slight visual issues, so I'd prefer to hike with a partner, instead of just assuming I'll find somebody on the Trail with walk with. I'm looking to do about 12 miles a day, and shelter vs. tenting is not a big deal one way or the other.
