Hi Alaska! Yes, I'm planning for 2014, it's something I've been looking forward to since the mid-90's.

I'm planning a 2014 thru as well I'm not planning to go it alone, so I'll need to find a group of people to hike with. I'm trying to convince my brother he needs to take a leave of absence from work to go.

I have sectioned over 1000 miles and was only alone on 2 nights. Even when you are with a group you tend to hike alone.

I retire April 11, 2014. Hope to start within the week after that. See all of you out there, or, since you will be ahead of me, I will read your wit and wisdom in the shelter registers.
