    Default northface tadpole 23 rain fly

    the tent portion of my northface tadpole 23 was recently destroyed. my dog put some holes in the netting. my question for any of you with experience with this tent is, can i use my hiking poles with the ground cloth to make tarp tent. anyone ever try? i'm gonna this afternoon, but was looking for a heads up. thanks.

    Yeah, if you still have the poles you can connect the rain fly with the footprint to make a simpler lighter shelter. Don't know if that helps you out or not
