Thread: Briefs

I'm bringing a couple pair of the Under Armor briefs but if that doesn't work for me, going commando is always an option. If going commando, baby powder is a wonderful thing for the crotch area. A liberal application each morning got me thru 3+ years in the Middle East and works well at cutting down on moisture and odor. Go to Wal-Mart and get a bunch of the travel sized baby powders; 1 for your pack and the rest for your bounce box. I've got big legs so I got a couple sticks of Body Glide Anti-Chafe (http://www.nationalrunningcenter.com...roductinfo/BG/) for the thighs.

+1 for ExOfficio Give'N'Go Boxer Briefs. Moisture wicking, no chaffing, enough support. Cotton Kills, so protect them.

Well since you asked Special-K, I find them uncomfortable and don't wear them at home, and haven't in years. Why would I wear them on the trail? YMMV

These days I like to hike in nylon fishing pants with zip-off legs with a built-in brief. No underwear required.
