I'm looking at these: http://goosefeet.webs.com/products.htm with an extra oz of down and the waterproof over booties.
Is there anything better?

I have these on my Christmas wish list.
Cheaper, four times the down, but a bit heavier than the ones you linked to. Plus they are made by Feathered Friends, can't beat their reputation for quality.

You might want to consider the down booties made by Feathered Friends
I have a pair and love them. They come with a removeable outer shell and sell for a little cheaper than what you'll pay for the booty and outer shell from the Goosefeet people. Plus you get the peace of mind knowing you bought from a highly reputable company.
I have these and simply love them. They are waterproof enough around camp with no additional cover with the Epic material. They are more than just "socks" as they have padded insoles. No need for additional down IMO. I have worn them barefoot in subzero temps in my backyard without issue. The coldest I have had them on a trip was about 15° and they were toasty.

As you can see, us bootie fanatics are peculiar about what we like. Me, I favor a pair of WM blue booties---below:
Who knew there were so many kinds of booties!
Goosefeet looks like a one man operation and the reviews are pretty good - I'll go ahead and order them and the next time this comes up we'll have yet another brand to recommend.
Hey. There really are boobies here!
