    yes, I will be staring February 21 starting from the tip of Springer Mt. if it is passable. I am traveling from Brunswick GA.

    I wonder how the early Feb starters are fairing? AT weather app shows conditions at Springer as cold and wet for the next week. Good way to start

    Hiking thru winter gives a good perspective about how easy it is to hike thru non winter. Adversity at the start can be a good thing. If you don't quit.
