Florida Trail Hike January 2010

I've been much of a lurker until now, sorry if some are bothered that this is my first post. Just wanted to send out the word that I'm starting a Florida Trail thru-hike in January 2010, northbound from the Everglades. As of now I'm doing most of the trail solo, with the exception of a few points where friends are joining me for short sections. Not sure if anyone on here is planning on hiking it then, but it would be nice to know since there are so few compared to the AT.

For those of you who thru-hiked the FT, what was your impression? Would you do it again?

Hey I"m from the fort also. Hiked a bit of the FL trail, just not the same as the mountains, but it has some great sections. Let me know if I can be of any assistance as we are so close to one another!
