Road condition to Betty Creek Gap NC

I'm planning a day hike soon from Deep Gap NC to Betty Creek Gap and I'm wondering about the road to BC Gap. I've been to Deep Gap but not BC gap. My AT map shows the road changes to a dashed line about 1/2 mile before Betty Creek trail. My AT guide says BC trail is about 6.3 miles past Standing Indian campground on FS 67. How bad is the road? Can I make it in a 2WD minivan? Is BC trail marked and is there a parking area?

USFS 67 is about .2 miles from BC Gap.
