    Default Good Journals

Any suggestions on some good ones to follow? I really enjoy the journals that are descriptive, and not just mileage updates. I love the ones with pictures, and preferably someone who knows how to type English, and not teentextspeak.

I've read some of the older ones from years past that everyone seems to like, but I really like to find two or three that I enjoy and follow them up the trail.

Longhaul... He has a transcriber that gets on him about his spelling and such. It's entertaining.

i like this one, too. his entries are sometimes short, but he updates often, posts more pics than many, and the webpage has a nice layout.

With his clever drawings and amusing observations, "Postcard" looks to be in a league by himself.

Postcard is awesome; a multiple thru hiker.
    Old ones:
Yogi, a triple crowner, though I think hers are taken off trailjournals now.
    Jan Liteshoe, a classic.

Does anybody know any UK or European trail journals?...in other words...foreign folks that are journaling I always enjoy their take on the trail and the US in general.

Mine is really long, if you're willing to get yourself into that. www.trailjournals.com/ashleydillman

    It's from 2009 AT. I think it's a good read And I'm a little bit of a grammar nut.

Two older ones that I thought were excellent are Hot Air from Dragon's Breath, and Then the Hail Came.

After lots of encouraging, I have started to post our thru-hike from 2008. Will get around to adding pics too. Like Pickleodeon stated above, mine is also really long, if you're willing to get yourself into that and the details. We're not your typical 20+ year olds - we fall into the errhhhh, shall I admit the middle aged married couple grouping.

I may be a tiny bit biased, and he's not been able to post any photos yet, but tintin is from the UK and hopefully there's not too many spelling mistakes (considering I'm his transcriber!)
