    Hello Everyone!

Plans for the G2M tour (#G2MTour) are well under way. Trail Days is next week. Screening at the Portage Theatre in Chicago is June 5th. Our sponsors, including Cache Lake, Superfeet, Justin's Nut Butter, Backpacker's Pantry, Minute Rice, and Success Rice have graciously donated their amazing products for screening-day raffles. Check out the list below, and if there's a screening within an hour of where you live, join us! If not ... stay tuned. We're still booking venues for the G2M tour, and the University Tour is only a few months away...

Ringleader, I think it is wonderful that you are able to do this project. It is also great you are able to let others know about it through Whiteblaze.

Maybe a small donation to this website would be a wonderful way to show gratitude for the ability of using WB to get the word out?

So, you are the WB legal advisor too?

If Alligator and Troll let it slide, perhaps you should air your grievances in private.

Is it stricty "commercial" in it's intent, or is it more sharing information about events the WB community would be interested in? I also agree with Mags that if they do financially benefit from the publicity this gives them, a donation back would definitely be appropriate.

A number of our screenings are free to the public; We've talked with Mags about this via email that we will gladly contribute if and when we use this site for profit. The G2M Tour has very much been a joint event with the communities themselves- where this is profit, it's split with the local arts council. Where an outfitter helps us advertise, we return the favor by talking them up in press and through our outlets- we've also held a number of free events at these outfitters where we talk with folks about gear (that people can then buy in the store). To date this thread has been used to provoke discussion; should people who read this thread actually attend a ticketed event I will gladly donate to Whiteblaze....

PS Alexis did a great job of explaining the work involved in putting this project together. She's also just a great travel writer. More info here: http://alexisgrant.com/2012/07/04/wh...ssion-project/ - feel free to discuss...

You should post to the "Get Togethers" forum. that's where the recent sales have been.
The trouble I have with campfires are the folks that carry a bottle in one hand and a Bible in the other.
You never know which one is talking.

    One e-mail ain't exactly talking.

Hmm, you use this site to heavily promote your movie. And continue to do so.

    Cool.

    But here's the link again:

    Easy-peasy. Mac n cheesy.

If you don't want to donate, just say so and you get to avoid a several sentence explanation.
