    Default Thru-hiking

Just wondering if any thru-hikers have gone south to north and then have gone north/south in the same calender yr? That would be a feat. This is something I have been thinking about...

It's called a "yo-yo" and it's definitely not unheard of. All three major US trails have now been yo-yo'ed. Good luck in your quest, it's quite an achievement.

very few have done it. 99.9% of hikers that make it from terminus to terminus DO NOT want to go the other way.
