Default Websites dedicated to other trails and camping?

Hi all! I am new here and think this site is awesome. However it is dedicated to the Appalacian Trail. Does anyone know of any websites that exist similar to this for the Adirondacks or other areas in the Northeast? I do alot of camping in the adirondacks and thought it would be cool to join a site similar to this for there.

    Thanks

    Rich

This site offers information regarding other trails.

Use the Toolbar above to navigate around this site.
Forums drop down box explores popular trails sometimes over shadowed by the AT.

I'm brand new here (1st post) and brand new to backpacking in general. Only backcountry experience is in the Boundary Waters on weeklong canoe trips. If you ever get the bug to do it (lots of fun, lots of fishing, if that's your thing), check out the message board at www.bwca.com. Good stuff.

Anyway, glad to be here. Already read a lot of stuff and really dig it. Thanks to whomever moderates this site.

Views From The Top (VFTT) offers info about the Whites, and (I believe) other prominent areas of the northeast.

    I have always loved www.hikewnc.info
Then some of the waterfall blogs for TN and NC are very informative.

Then my biased side, Hikingbill.com; tehcc.org; and ncmst.org

I would if I could, but I'm not a member myself. I've heard a fair bit about it from folks at Backpacking.net, where there are several members. I wasn't aware they had restricted new membership until you mentioned it.

However, there are plenty of New Englanders here and there is a decent chance one of them is a member and may sponsor you.
