    22

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all, especially those few who are still out there on the trail!

Anyone know if "Farmers market" made the thru trip? Met her at Holy Hostel in Pearisburg. She carried a violin and played us some songs at Pine Swamp Shelter.

I was wondering about sobos Tiger, and two Aussies. They should have finished by now.

Yep. 'Chicken, 'Cow, Ahab, Susie Cream Cheese (That guy had a lot of aliases.), Spaceship (the hiker formerly known as Tropic Thunder), and Cloud all summitted in mid Sept., triumphing over distractions like way too much alcohol and whitewater in Maine.

Mudd and Giddyup were part of the 999 crowd.

Freeze finished way before I did. I saw his :::FREEZE::: signature in every log book. Never met the guy. Don't know Motor, either- sorry.

    Me: L-Train, September ...ummmm... 16th, I think.

    L-Train,

Here is a picture of Motor and Freeze. In my 2009 journal photos you might find some others you recognize.

The last time I saw Solo was New Hampshire, and I'm certain he made it all the way. I haven't dug through my journals, but I might have his contact information.

I summited on September 2 with a very large group. I know I'm going to leave someone out, but I'll do my best.

    Hellbender (that would be me)
    Wind-up
    Saint
    Hermes
    Rusticus
    Papa Kiwi
    T-Suds
    DoubleVision
    Jukebox Hero
    Plunger
    Mr. Right
    Loon
    Hot Sauce
    Stretch
    Tinman
    Newt
    Miss Scarlett
    Cricket
    Sunbeam
    Half-moon
    Samwise
    Doc

Here is a short video that follows me from Vermont to Katahdin:

I (Squatter) finished my flip-flop, summiting Springer on November 23rd. The coldest time of my whole thru hike was waiting in the Springer parking lot for my family do to the last mile.

I'll see all you nobos and sobos at Trail Days!

Are you the Squatter we met at Madison Hut last September? if so, hello from Tiptoe and Red Dread, and regards to your parents.

Any easy way to find contact for people from the trial, whom likely don't use whiteblaze but I'd really like to contact? i know I will forget a few names but the trailnames, of 2009 nobos I'd like to get back in touch with:

Strings, BluRay, Arriba, BugMan, Android, Journey, Roadrunner, Weebles, Carpenter, I know I am missing others, but some of these people I hiked with for a good length of time and just always thought to get the contact info only after it was too late... I doubt this is the right place to ask but maybe someone can point me in the right direction?

Thanks if you have any helpful info!
