I am one of the moderators who has been trying to keep the automated new threads from this Forum from overwhelming the board.

Let me say that I appreciate both your work, and also appreciate that there is an (albeit imperfect) bot that collects these.

Actually that's how I got on WB. I had been interviewed in the Elmira Star-Gazette and the reporter Googled a boner with a poor comparison to the A.T. and that went in the story. The following morning I got a note from someone in Tennessee about how I was off message. After explaining that it was the reporter not me, I wondered how someone in TN would be up on news stories in upstate NY. "You see, there's a web site that captures any news articles that mention the A.T."... and now I guess I'm hooked!

Despite my moral code against such things,
I'd rather have a state governor screwing around with a beautiful woman (on the AT!) than the folks we have in office at the federal level screwing us *all* with more government (spending, regulations, bureaucracy, taxes in the form of cap-and-trade, etc.)
