2010 Thru-Hike Registry

Trail Name: Probably going to be 'Dani' but some friends think I should go with 'Myaaka'. Would love to have some input from anyone with who thinks one is better than the other.

Been planning this trip for almost two years now. But it's been my dream since I was just 14. My goal is to start the trail on the 24th, and do the approach trail and then start at Springer first thing on the 25th. I'm so excited! And good luck to all the thru-hikers! I look forward to meeting those whose path I cross.

Cool Breeze is an alternative itinerary shown on the ATC web site for doing a through hike in all favorable weather. It involves a 3 way flip flop of 3 equal segments. CT-VA, ME-CT, VA-GA in that order. It's one of the itineraries we studied in great detail before finally deciding to just go straight SOBO. It's named after the thru-hiker that invented it.

It seems that I will fly to Fort Myers, FL on March 11 and from there I will take a flight to Atlanta the next day. So can you please adjust my entry in the thru-hiker registry? I think my estimated start date will be March 13 or 14.
