Stayed here 4/25. One of my fave shelters. One of the best maintained shelters in the park, if not THE best. I was looking forward to sleeping down in the lower campsites, which have great tent pads. Had the tent setup, but took it down and moved to the shelter when we saw lightning later that night. Spring was going like gangbusters.

Enjoyed the owls calling in the night. Seemed nearby after the rain stopped.

Privies in great shape. Loved the air fresheners, but I have to ask.... I thought something like that would attract bears. No?

Got water at this shelter in Sept 2009. Decent shelter, campsites okay, privy nice, water was flowing very well. Many posted sighs warning of bear activity at this shelter.

Was at this shelter this weekend, 5/11/12. Very nice. Two privies, gushing stream. Fireplace outside and nice picnic table. Many campsites to the left and right of shelter. Lots of room.
