On Guthooks Guide someone posted on April 12, 2017 that the tap had been removed and no water available.

I was considering staying at Kirkridge last weekend, and reading the previous comment, decided to call the retreat to ask about the water situation. The woman I spoke to on the phone said the tap is still available to hikers and that the water is on. I ended up staying at Leroy Smith instead, so I can't confirm that that's really the case, but that's what I was told over the phone.

    Default Water?

Anyone with direct, current knowledge of situation and alternatives regarding well-related problems (per ATC) that have shut off water at Kirkridge?
    Thanks!
