I need a giftcard for time

I got a giftcard for REI for $50.00 and found that I really don't NEED anything. I have been hiking for years and I have worked my gear down to a well oiled machine. What I need is time, I have three young kids, a wife, and a mortgage, and I am finding it harder to get away. To all of you thur-hikers I just want you to know you are carring one more thing with you and that is all of my deepest hopes that you have a great hike.

Buy something for over $50, pay the balance with your CC, and then take it back for a refund. The entire amount will be applied to the CC as a credit.

Can't give you anything more than sympathy on the time thing though. Been there myself for a few decades.

I also can relate ...minus 2 young kids . One kid starting college , and responsibilities out of the ying-yang (sp).
