    We had a headshop called The Om in Nanuet, NY when I was growing up. Same pronunciation. But somehow, I don't think that's what you're talking about.

    Yes, the ohm limits the current of one volt to one amp

    I knew what he was talking about, it looks like the "Goldilocks" of backpacks, just enough, but not too much, for warmer hikes anyway. ULA quality/customer service too boot.

    My ULA Ohm with all of my lightweight 3 season gear, 4 days food, and water. This one carries great. The lightweight frame is visible in the side view.



    Inside are: Tarp, Bivy, Pad, 30F Quilt, Alcohol Stove and Pot, Rain Cape, Misc. Gear, Down Jacket, 4 Dinners, 4 Breakfasts, Snacks, 2L of water total. There's an extension collar, but I didn't reach it with the included gear.
