Last I checked his concerts weren't free.

The decision to buy a ticket and attend one of his shows is voluntary, last time I checked, and at this point in his career, his political views and banter aren't exactly a surprise to anyone.

Don't like his music or his opinions?

Then don't listen.

Well, excuse me for not paying attention before hand. I was simply going along for the ride and thinking of when I saw him 10 rows back in a college hall that sat maybe 1,800 back when he was promoting born to run.

One of my favorites. I love Bruce but Prine and Earle are the best songwriters.

Steve Earle also played a great part on the incredibly awesome show THE WIRE (if are a fan of this show, you know you can't give it enough of praise!)

He did a cover of Tom Waits (another great artist) DOWN IN THE HOLE for season 5. Earle's FEEL ALRIGHT was also the montage music for the close of season two. Good stuff...

Of course, Prine and Raitt doing ANGEL FROM MONTGOMERY together was just killer.

I think it would be entertaining if Springsteen carried his guiitar on the trail... Heck I think it would be entertaining if anyone carried their guitar on the trail.. I remember listening to Crazy Horse play a few times on the trail in 05...

............. If you think Jerry Garcia's music sucks LW there is no hope for your musical tastes. They must be damaged beyond all repair. Junkie, sure, fantastic musician, beyond doubt.

I've hung around the guy a little bit, LW listens to some great music. Anybody who can listen to DBT all night long is OK by me!
