I'll be doing Springer to Clingmans dome sometime in Feb. My vacation.
I was going on Feb. 1st but an attack of gout's been messing with me.

Ron... I am departing on the 22nd from Springer. I am planning to spend the night prior at your place with my wife (she is dropping me at Springer). This will allow her to see my frist stop and allow me to drop a package for you to hold. You and I spoke on the phone a little more than a month ago when I was confirming you wouldn't mind holding a package.

On a different note... leaving your place is it easy to stop by Neels Gap (to drop a second package) while en route to Springer for drop off?

Ron, My brother and I are leaving around 02-22. Planned on leaving my car at Amicalola since they only charge 3 bucks for the entire thru hike.. Would like to drop a package at Neels Gap also though..

We are leaving on Feb 15 if all goes well. I'm glad the ice storms will be over by then.

When I think I'll be hitting Amicalola myself. Of course, I have 122 miles of the Pinhoti to finish first, otherwise I'd be on the AT already...

As for you on the AT.We are going to have a hostel, good water and plenty of toilet paper. So now if you don't stop into Franklin now you can't say it's because we don't have a hostel.

Will Miss Janet be serving her world famous breakfasts???? That would be worth the stop alone!!
