I never turn down a free beer. There's some I wouldn't give a nickel for though.

I must admit that Pabst Blue Ribbon is my favorite cheap, commonly available, American donkey pee variety. Especially in the summers when I'm out on the rivers. Can't take anything tasty in glass bottles. PBR in mass quantities, can't afford anything else.

classic shlitz for cheap beer, budweiser american ale is my new favorite "premium" beer. I've been somewhat of a beer snob, and never liked bud, but the american ale is darn good, like bass and sam adams good.

Used to be quite true, not so terribly long ago. Today, however, there are some truly great American beers. My favorite complement for my home brew has been "this can't be beer. It tastes good!"

My non-beer drinking wife's best comment: "that's not completely disgusting!"

I heard they brought Schlitz back, the old and good kind. I've never got to try it.

I love that Sierra Nevada to. Best stuff I can find locally. It's about my favorite these days. Almost too much flavor. We don't have mountain streams here, but we have cold springs.

Warm SAKE on a COLD day is AWESOME!
