it's only 63 miles. you don't have to resupply at all but if you must, do it in dalton

IIRC, that walk can be done in four days with just a bit of hustle. It's all easy hiking. I don't recall any stores within view of the trail in either Dalton or Cheshire, but I wasn't really looking.

There are a few grocery/convenience stores within a few minutes walk of both Cheshire and Dalton, tho you may well not need them

You can always cache at the half way point. It works well for my partner and I.

Dalton is better, Cheshire has nothing much, except an outfitter was trying to get going there - not sure what's up with that. We stayed at the church hostel in Cheshire - worked out well.

It is a little hefty hiking to Mt Greylock area. Rest is pretty easy. Enjoy!

adams town? It's either North Adams, Williamstown, or possibly Adams.

Your trip will start off a bit hilly then flaten out, Don't need to resupply, but Dalton will work, and water should be good for most of the way.
