Wolf we were talking about you at the Gathering.

Mainly some of us who are jealous of your cold weather hikes

Looking forward to a reunion when you're back home!

Great to see so many familiar faces in those pics. Thanks for sharing them StarLyte. Hopefully in the not too distant future I will be able to start attending these functions. Haven't been to a gathering since 2003 and I'm LONG overdue.

Slog, there were twins of yourself and Cookerhiker there. It was driving me nuts.

I kept thinking....gosh Slog is here all the way from Laramie ! ha ha

Cookerhiker himself was there, but had a twin as well.

Around about the time it was too late to drive to Pipestem, I was overcome with a strong desire to travel there having been of two minds about it earlier.

Thanks, StarLyte. I'm about to check out your photos to see if they might be of some aid in teaching myself a lasting lesson! Next year, things are going to be different if I have it my way.

The main group Gathering photo will only appear in ALDHA's website, which should be within the next few days. Thank you !
Well, I'm happy to not see any pictures of my reverse raccoon-looking sunburnt self...although I know at least a couple were taken.

    Thanks StarLyte,

No more winter hikes for me for the next couple years. I leave in a week and already looking forward to seeing everyone when I get back.

Nah. No storytelling contest. We only do that when Lone Wolf attends a Gathering in order to annoy him.

Thanks to Weathercarrot and Warren and everyone who made the Gathering possible and excellent. Especially Camo.

It was a nice was to decompress from the trail. Apologies to anyone who suspected that I was sleeping standing up while you were trying to talk to me. I was.

If that's the case then you also talk, nay, hold conversations in your sleep...

Yesterday I finally washed off all those dead bugs on the front of my pickup truck. I hit them on route 64 where the speed limit is 70. There was so many of those bugs. They were all over the wind shield.
