Default Birches is now 10 dollars

I just wanted to let everyone know that the Birches is now ten dollars PP, one night maximum and more at the Ranger's discretion(usually one more night due to foul weather on your planned summit day).

All the guidebooks currently state 9 dollars as the fee.

He was in Monson last night. Probably got the info from Bluebearee, a Baxter Ridgerunner, who he was hanging with last night

Someone tell Kirby to slow down. Enjoy the "wilderness." Believe me. There is no rush to return to "responsible" living. I've tried the latter. The trail is much better.

It's only July, Lone Wolf. High school is still a month away, at least.

Kirby, I'm playing catch-up from time away.
    This is very good news.
Congratulations! What a terrific experience to have at any age, but especially at 17.

Bluebearee told me you and LT were honing in on me, PM me with the names of people who were also on Katahdin the same day, I imagine there were quite a few.

Ya it was LT, Sinker, Time Traveler, Hit & Miss, and me I guess, I thought there would be sombody else, but its well restricted in the birches, except the fact that Sinker and Time Traveler both stealthed so they where off the radar. If you hear the #s for finishers, add two. Ive been trying to catch you from the day I got on March 17th, just beacuse I remember sitting in my basement watching your updates on white blaze, well I was whating my turn. I almost caught you somewhere in PA, then I got lyme as well as LT so we had some time off. Ironiclly we just missed ya in the end. It was a great trip though, and im not doing so well back in the concrete jungles of Chicago, I wish I was still in Maine, take care Kirby.

I excitedly misread the thread title and thought that WB had opened a new line of service for men. (sigh)
.....Someday, like many others who joined WB in the early years, I may dry up and dissapear....
