Stumpknocker is having a heck of a hike. He started hiking the AT early in the year, got off the trail and biked across the country with Mrs. Gorp, then got back on the trail and is in PA! This is his 5th ( I think) hike of the AT. Great journal and awesome pics. He usually updates it everyday if you want to follow it. Hikerhead and I had the pleasure of visiting with him when he came thru Roanoke. We ate at The Homeplace. Rock on Stumpy!

I haven't had any fried chicken in almost ten days now....and I don't usually stay at hostels. I prefer Hampton Inns.
A-Train.....can you recommend any good fried chicken places up here in Burlington, VT? I know you lived here at one time.
