Jester is home in his own bed - warm and dry - something he hasn't been for several weeks. Got in last night sporting a bushy beard and wearing his red "Bill" shirt. It's great to have him home again.

WARNING TO EVERYONE!

Apparently, if you're on the East Coast Geek can hear your thoughts. Break out the tinfoil hats!

Spent the past week eating and sleeping. And showering. Recovering from my hike and, you know, the Gathering.

Thanks to everyone who followed along and kept in touch, and thanks especially to those who sent me care packages.

Ultimately, though, there are a few people to thank who made the hike possible. And that would be
a) Jester's Mom and
b) Firefighters

Jester's Mom did an awesome job of keeping us all informed. Thanks, Pat. And one more time.....Welcome home Jester. It was great getting to see you and spend some time with you at the Gathering. I hope your acclimation back to the "real" world goes smoothly and all your plans and dreams work out.
